Bayo Omoboriowo, the ex-official photographer of former President Muhammadu Buhari has dispelled long-held rumours that his former principal died after protracted illness and was cloned.

Buhari fell ill in 2017 and was flown to the UK, during which rumours that he was dead and had been replaced with a lookalike named Jibrin from Sudan gained notoriety but Omoboriowo insisted that the report was deeply laced in propaganda with an intention to cause uproar.

According to Omoboriowo, Buhari’s official photographer for eight years, most people carry a wrong perspective of the former President, arguing that his close relationship availed the opportunity to see the true character and person of Buhari.

He however admonished creatives and young Nigerians to become the best in their craft, adequately prepared for their desired breakthrough.
