The acting chairman of the agency Abdulkarim chukkol has described the fight against corruption as cooperate affair, appealing to security operatives to collaborate.

Chukkol said this at the Nigeria, ghana cybercrime summit to work out regional cooperation.

On her part, Executive director of the Ghanaian antigraft agency, Maame   Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, applauded efcc for its gaint strides in the fight against corruption, while stating that intelligence sharing will aid both nation in combatting corruption.

In the meantime, the former Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, is currently in the Makurdi custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, following an invitation by the anti-graft agency.

Ortom arrived at the Makurdi zonal office today, following an ongoing investigation into alleged financial misappropriation during his tenure as an official.
