The federal government has hinted at the possibility of enhancing, exporting Art, Culture, and Creative Economy, to mini public-private partnerships with major stakeholders in the sector.

 

In a statement, the Minister of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa stated that her ministry is set to host a symposium to open up the industry to progressive discussions on public-private partnerships in the creative industry.

 

According to her Vice President, Kashim Shettima will be the chief host of the symposium, adding that the event aims to help unite key industry players and also facilitate the formulation of initiatives that could boost Nigeria’s creative economy.

 

The minister noted that the nation’s creative prospect has caught the attention of the world, and the government must seize the opportunity to support the talent and institutions that power the cultural, entertainment, and creative economy.
