The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has presented a budget of n273billion to the state house of assembly as part of the 2024 appropriation bill.

Governor adeleke said the budget divided into n165billion for recurrent expenditure and n108 billion for capital expenditure is aimed at rebuilding the battered economy of the state.

He added that the presentation of the budget is in conformity with the existing laws of the state which stipulate that the budget should be presented to the house before the end of the year.

The governor while thanking the house of assembly for their understanding, sought for their support in the coming years to take the state to greater heights.

Earlier, the speaker of the assembly, Adewale Egbedun expressed the readiness of the house to work with the executive arm of government to ensure the successful implementation of the budget
