Adamawa state Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has commended President Bola Tinubu for his courage to make hard decisions and introduce hard policies intended to reposition Nigeria for growth.

Fintiri told newsmen in Yola that fuel subsidy removal and other policies initiated by the Tinubu government may have temporary effects on the economy, but such policies are necessary to make Nigerians sit up and be productive.

According to him, Nigeria cannot continue to rely on subsidy in different sectors, noting that developing nations need to face reality and fend for themselves with available resources, rather than depend on shortcuts and short term relieves.

Fintiri also advised Nigerians to believe in their leaders, support and pray for them as their success will ultimately affect the living standard and the economy of the nation.
