The Senate has disclosed that President Bola Tinubu would present the 2024 Appropriation Bill to the National Assembly in November.
The chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation, Senator Solomon Adeola, gave this hint in an interview with journalists after the inaugural meeting of the committee.
He said the the National Assembly is expecting the federal government to present the Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy (MTEF-FSP) next week for proper scrutiny.
Adeola who pledged the commitment of the National Assembly to maintaining the January to December budget cycle, which the 9th National Assembly started, said the panel would meet the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun next Wednesday.
