President Bola Tinubu has approved the reappointment of Professor Yusuf Bara as the Chief Medical Director of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH), Bauchi, for a second and final term of four years.
The decision, announced by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, follows a positive assessment of Professor Bara’s first term in office.
The President expressed confidence that Professor Bara will build on his previous achievements and continue to enhance the hospital’s standards.
In a related development, President Tinubu also reappointed Professor Abdurrahman Sheshe as the Chief Medical Director of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano, for a second and final term, effective from December 5.
First appointed in 2019, Professor Sheshe is expected to further improve the hospital’s performance, leveraging his experience to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
