President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has renewed the appointment of Bayero Farah as Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology in Zaria for another four year term.
In a letter signed by Secretary to the Government, George Akume, Farah’s reappointment was effective January 13th based on provisions of the Institute’s Act.
Farah has served in senior roles rising to Director in 2013 and being first appointed Chief Executive in January 2020.
A statement issued by the Institute’s Head of Press and Public Relations Unit, John Kolawole added that it is anticipated that his reappointment will lead to the expansion of the Institute’s scope of operation, as well as the completion of the liaison offices spread across the six geopolitical zones.
