Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has hailed the federal government for the expedited focus and attention to detail on the Third Mainland Bridge project, contributing to the timely and quality completion of necessary improvements on the bridge.

 

The governor who expressed delight over the full reopening of the Third Mainland Bridge, also lauded residence for their patience and resilience during the repair, while thanking the Ministry of Transportation for their effective traffic management throughout the period

 

He further appealed to motorists to embrace safe practices on the renovated bridge, to reduce accidents, promising to ensure the wellbeing of other road users.

 

Recall sections of the third mainland bridge had been shut for six weeks, by the federal government, to allow repairs and renovation on the ever-busy bridge.
