River state Governor, Siminalaye Fubara says his primary assignment and aim is to improve the welfare of residents and secure them for anti-people agenda by external forces.
Fubara speaking at the commissioning of the 20,000-housing unit in Ikwere local government, stated that his desire to serve his people will not be affected by oppositions from familiar territories, insisting that he is more than capable to pilot the state to greater heights.
The Governor who addressed Edison Ehie as the speaker of the state assembly in his speech, argued that contrary to news making the rounds, the state is safe and progressing with direction, calling on investors to partner with his administration for all round development.
Fubara also promised that his government is determined to serve the masses in all capacities, vowing to ensure that the 20,000-housing project will be duly allocated on merit and fairness, while submitting that government is a continuum irrespective of differences of political actors.
The project commissioning is coming after seven other commissioners walked away from the state cabinet stating various reasons for their resignation
