Prolific art director and production designer, Pat Nebo is dead.

The news was confirmed by a movie journalist and member of the African Movie Academy Awards jury, Shaibu Husseini, who said the award-winning production designer died today from a protracted illness that had left him bedridden.

Nebo began his career in 1993 with his role as a production designer in ‘Ti Oluwa Nile’ and worked on the two sequels of Ti Oluwa ni Ile.

His works span several films such as ‘Araromire’, ‘Arugba’, ‘Alero’s Symphony’, ‘October 1’ and ‘Being Mrs Elliot’, including the acclaimed ‘The Milkmaid’, ‘Lionheart’ and most recently in Kunle Afolayan’s movie, ‘Citation’.
