Founder and Regional Superintendent of the Christ Apostolic Church Grace Of Mercy Prayer Mountain Zone, Prophet Sam Olu Alo, has once again demonstrated his commitment to youth and women empowerment as he provided hundreds of people with vocational skills and start-up capital to navigate Nigeria’s current economic challenges.

The initiative was part of a month-long fasting and prayer program titled “Sure Mercy of David” at Jesus City in Ibeju-Lekki where Prophet Alo mandated attendees to learn a vocational skill during the 24-day event.

“Our youth are the future of this nation,” Prophet Alo stated. “By equipping them with practical skills and financial support, we’re not just empowering individuals; we’re building a stronger economy for Nigeria.”

Beneficiaries who excelled in their vocational training received a minimum of ₦100,000 to start their businesses.

One recipient expressed her gratitude: “This opportunity has changed my life. With the skills I’ve learned and this start-up capital, I can now support my family and contribute to my community.”

Prophet Alo reiterated the importance of hard work alongside prayer. “God blesses the works of our hands,” he said. “We must pray, yes, but we must also be willing to work diligently to achieve our goals.”

The event also saw Prophet Alo supporting the music industry by endorsing album launches for artists Suliamon Ashanke, Suma Wonder, and Oluyemi ‘Oskool’ Oyeniran of Adamimogo 93.1FM Lagos.

“Supporting our artists is not just about music; it’s about fostering economic growth and artistic expression,” Prophet Alo remarked. “I encourage everyone in our congregation to back these talents as they contribute to our nation’s cultural and economic vitality.”

One of the endorsed artists, Oluyemi ‘Oskool’ Oyeniran, shared his excitement: “Prophet Alo’s support means everything to us. It’s not just about the music; it’s about believing in our potential to make a positive impact through our art.”
