The Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila has hailed the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for what he deemed a well-organized by-election in Surulere Federal Constituency 1.
Gbajabiamila said this shortly after casting his vote at Ward 08, polling unit 014 where he also lamented a relatively poor turnout.
He advised any eventual winner of the poll to remain focused on delivery the right needs to the people regardless of the initial challenges.
The Chief of Staff in his reaction to the current economic situation said the President remains concerned about the plight of the people, noting some policies will begin to yield results in no time, while urging Nigerians to exercise patience.
