Leadership of the Zone 2 Police in Lagos State have arrested and dismissed two police inspectors dismissed for armed robbery, illegal duty, and corruption while an alleged accomplice, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ajayi Victor is on the run.
A statement by the spokesperson in charge of zone SP, Umma Ayuba identified the dismissed officers as Inspector Ogunleye Stephen and Inspector Sunday Adetoye
It was gathered that the duo and ASP Ajayi invaded the home of a man in the Obada Oko area of Ogun State and carted away several smartphones and two laptops.
They were reportedly, at the time of the invasion, still facing trial for similar offences in the past.
