The Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Professor Mojisola Adeyeye has expressed confidence in the ability of the Bola Tinubu administration to lay solid foundations, and set Nigeria on the right course.
Adeyeye, said this during an interview, noting that Nigeria is suffering from decades of corruption and misused resources, with funds allocated for people-oriented projects, diverted and embezzled without accountability and remorse.
Adeyeye further stated that NAFDAC has adopted technology as a means of unbundling bottlenecks, used by corrupt personnel who continue to frustrate efforts of sincere officers, to rid the system of selfishness and unprofessional conduct.
she however assured that the agency, under her watch will sustain the fight against unprofessionalism in the health sector and preserve the lives of Nigerians through quality service delivery.
