This comes following an attack by unidentified gunmen that led to the death of no less than 80 people in Bokkos and Barkin Local Government Areas of Plateau State on Christmas eve.

In a video message posted on his twitter page, Muftwang said it was true that security agencies had not responded at all when called upon or were sluggish but premised it on genuine complaints of the terrains and logistics.

The Governor, however, harped on the need to improve on the operational capacity of these security agencies so they can be proactive and respond on time.

Earlier, Vice President Kashim Shettima who paid a visit to plateau commiserated with families of those that lost their lives, persons that were injured and displaced residents, while assuring them of the unwavering commitment of the Federal Government to ensure peace and security across the country.
