The Senate has been thrown into a state of chaos following the collapse of Ministerial Nominee Balarabe Abbas Lawal during his screening.
Balarabe, a Kaduna State native, had completed his presentation and was about to take questions from the lawmakers when he collapsed.
The Senate has since entered into a closed-door session in an effort to revive Lawal, who is still inside the chamber
