The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Muhammed Matawalle, has called on the August 1 planned protest organizers to come out of their closet and dialogue with the government.

 

Matawalle said President Bola Tinubu is open to dialogue, pointing out that he expressed his commitment to peaceful resolution with the amicable handling of the new national minimum wage, with the Organised Labour.

 

Matawalle warned of the potential dangers associated with the planned protest, expressing the fear from different quarters that the protests could be hijacked by mischievous individuals and hoodlums seeking to cause havoc and disunity in the country.

 

Earlier, Minister of State for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande assured Nigerians that President Bola Tinubu would address the present hardship in the country, promising that the policies outlined by the President will yield favourable results.
