Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has urged the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA) to diligently implement its Service Charter 2023.
Adelabu, represented by the Director of Reform Coordination and Service Improvement Department, Titilayo Adeyo said this at the NEMSA Customer Service Week 2023, noting that effective implementation of the Charter will certainly improve services.
According to Adeyo, the Charter mandates the agency to conduct technical inspectorate services on installations belonging to Distribution Companies (DisCos), Generation Companies (GenCos), and the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
She also stressed that an effective implementation of the charter will provide education on the rights and obligations of electricity consumers and address complaints through it redress mechanism.
