The Organised Labour would be hoping to have good news about the new minimum wage when its leaders meet President Bola Tinubu Thursday at the Presidential Villa.

Tomorrow’s meeting, at the instance of President Tinubu was confirmed by the President of the Trade Union Congress, Festus Osifo.

Osifo had on Wednesday insisted on a minimum wage of N250,000 as against the ₦62,000 proposal from the government and private sector.

Further conversations on a figure were stepped down from the Federal Executive Council (FEC) chaired by the President to allow for more engagement with stakeholders.
