The Managing Director of Lagos State Water Corporation (LSWC) Mukhtaar Tijani says the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration is on a mission to oversee a holistic upgrade in the transport system, making sure that no option is left unexplored.

Tijani said this during a visit to the Marina station of the Blue line rail, alongside his team to experience the rail system, which he described as an overwhelmingly pleasant experience.

According to him, there is a need for more collaboration between the State Water Corporation and metropolitan area transport authority, to synergize in fostering an active transport system, that transcends barriers.

Tijani praised the LAMATA team for its successful development and operation of the Blue Line, stating that the LSWC might be seeking ways to improve their own energy infrastructure model for water treatment and distribution.
