The operatives of the Lagos state traffic management authority(LASTMA) has carried out an enforcement operation at university of Lagos waterfront on 3rd Mainland bridge inward Iyana-Oworo and contravened two private vehicles for flouting traffic laws.

The acting general manager of LASTMA, Bakare Oki who led the enforcement exercise disclosed that despite the standard bus-stop provided by the government at Iyana-Oworo, both private and commercial bus drivers still prefer to drop and pick passengers by the road side thereby causing serious traffic.

He confirmed that the agency had deployed officers to managing and controlling traffic, ensuring unimpeded free flow of traffic in the area

Oki however called on security personnel to be civil by obeying traffic laws as anyone caught would be charged to the state mobile courts.
