The Lagos State Police Command has given an update on the investigation on the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as MohBad.
The state Police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that the force has decided not to rush the investigation without proper direction, emphasising the need to wait for the autopsy report as the command is yet to received the report from the pathologists.
According to Hundeyin, the situation report on the deceased is important to set the record straight and to respond to the demands of a civil society organisation, seeking the conclusion of the investigation into Mohbad’s case.
The Head of the Gender Department of the group, Omolola Pedro, in a statement called on the police to stop the needless delays, make public its findings from the investigation, and protect the rights of the deceased’s wife and child.
