The Lagos State Government has suspended plans for the commencement of its e-call-up system on the Lekki-Epe corridor until further notice.

The Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, in a statement said the decision is coming after further consideration of stakeholders’ request to extend the timeliness in order to give adequate room for full compliance.

Osiyemi urged all stakeholders to seize the opportunity to ramp up full preparation in readiness for the successful take-off of the technology-driven solution of truck movement on the Lekki-Epe corridor.

According to the state government, the e-call up system is an innovative digital platform designed to manage and coordinate the movement of trucks within the Lekki-Epe Free Trade Zone corridor.
