The minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu has paid a visit to Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu in her quest to upgrade the National Social Register.

Edu stated that her ministry will be working with State Governors to facilitate implementation of the Conditional Cash Transfer scheme programmed to assist 15million households across the country.

She commends the Lagos Government for the tremendous support and cooperation, appealing for further assistance to actualize the mandate of her ministry.

Earlier, Sanwo-olu paid a visit to the Minister of Solid Minerals, Dele Alake, and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, assuring them of his commitment to work together with them to not only strengthen Nigeria’s economy, but to also make Lagos state a rallying point for their developmental agenda.
