The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has clarified that there was no casualty in the three-storey building that collapsed at 14 Ikpoh Street, Surulere, Lagos.

Territorial Coordinator, NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye, confirmed that the incident occurred last night.

Meanwhile, an occupant of the building, Gervase Anyanwu, a businessman said that all the other occupants were able to run out of the building before it came down completely.

At the time of reporting, all the relevant government agencies in charge of emergency were present at the scene to begin excavation of the rubble from the building.
