Arsenal’s manager, Mike Arteta will battle Pep Guardiola and Erik Ten Hag for Barclays Manager of the Month award for the month of February.
In the month under review, Arteta led Arsenal to four victories in four games, beating leaders Liverpool, West Ham United, Burnley and Newcastle United.
The Gunners also had the best attack, scoring 18 goals, six more than anyone else, and the joint-best defence, conceding only twice.
Manchester city’s manager, Pep Guardiola also had an outstanding month, winning 13 points from a possible 15 in February to stay hot on the heels of Liverpool in second place, conceding only two times across five matches.
The last candidate in the category is Erik ten Hag who won three of four matches, including a 2-1 victory at high-flying Aston Villa, to put United back in the race for UEFA Champions League qualification.
The winner will be determined by combined votes of fans and a panel of football experts, with results to be released on Monday 4 March.
