The Federal High Court Sitting in Abuja Today Has Granted Immediate Past Governor of the Central Bank, Godwin Emefiele, Bail in The Sum of N300 Million and Two Sureties In Like Sum.

In A Judgement by Justice Hamza Muazu, The Two Sureties Must Have Certificates of Occupancy and Titles of Properties Within the Maitama District.

Emefiele, Currently Locked Up at The Kuje Correctional Centre Was Represented by His Lawyer, Mathew Burkaa, And Has Been Mandated to Deposit All His Travel Documents with The Court and Remain Within the FCT

The Federal Government, Last Friday, Arraigned Emefiele On a Six-Count Charge Bordering On Alleged Procurement Which Was Originally 20 Counts to The Tune of N6.5 Billion.

This Comes Four Months After the Federal High Court Sitting in Lagos Granted Him Bail In The Sum Of N20 Million.
