The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Toareed Lagbaja has apologized and sympathized with families and victims of Sunday’s bombardment at Tudun Biri community, Igabi Local Government area of Kaduna State.
Speaking during a visit to the community, the army chief expressed shock at the event, describing it as painful and unacceptable while promising to fast-track investigation into the matter, to ascertain the root cause of the matter.
Earlier, President Tinubu through his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngalale condoled with the Kaduna state government, instructing concerned authorities to ensure measures are in place to avert such events in the future.
He also directed that quality treatment be made available to survivors of the incident.
