Borno State governor, Babagana Zulum has pledged to reopen more displaced communities to accelerate the reviving of the economy tattered by Boko Haram atrocities in the state.

In his speech today Zulum, announced plans to recruit 5,000 teachers, 1,500 health workers and establish a microfinance in each of the 27 local government areas of the state.

Recall that over one million Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs have been relocated to their various ancestral communities over in the last four years by the present administration.

katsina state governor-elect, Dikko Umar Radda has been sworn in as governor at the Muhammadu Dikko township stadium.

immediately after taking the oath of office, the outgoing governor, Aminu Masari, handed over the symbol of authority to Dikko Radda, marking the end of Masari’s eight years reign as katsina governor.
