Akwa Ibom state government has denied allegations of flying ibom air because the former governor, Udom Emmanuel was still keeping the State’s official private jet
In a statement, senior special assistant to the Akwa Ibom State Governor on Research and Documentation, Essien Ndueso frowned at the negative criticisms tailing the recent decision of the governor to patronize the State-owned air carrier
Ndueso described the allegation as a frivolous beer parlour gist aimed at tarnishing the image of the former Governor, urging the public to discountenance such allegations.
He explained that the former Governor, has not shown any overbearing attitude to his successor, noting that the former governor had declared that there could only be one leader at a time in the State.
The senior special assistant also stated that the governor will continue to fulfil his promises to residents of the state.
