Why Nigeria Remains in a Dark Era – Prophet Olu-Alo

Meanwhile, the Cleric has attributed Nigeria’s ongoing challenges to the lack of genuine love and honesty among its citizens.

Speaking recently during the “Sure Mercies of David,” an annual prayer program held at Jesus City, Ibeju-Lekki, Prophet Olu-Alo warned that unless Christians, Muslims, and Traditional Worshippers prioritise love, mutual cooperation, and integrity, many gifted individuals will fail to reach their full potential.

He warned that this waste of human resources could have dire consequences for the nation’s future.

In his sermon, the Prophet lamented the widespread envy, jealousy, and the unhealthy competition to surpass others.

He stressed that these attitudes run counter to scriptural teachings, which identifies love as central to personal and communal growth.

Prophet Olu-Alo advised Christians to be worthy partners for adherents of other faiths, highlighting the biblical wisdom that “two are better than one.”

Olu Alo also urged religious leaders to embody the spirit of love, forgiveness, hard work, and genuine happiness for all.
