The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas has extended his congratulations to Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun on her swearing-in as the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
The Speaker who expressed confidence in the acting CJN’s track record, restated his belief that Justice Kekere-Ekun will introduce reforms to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Nigeria’s judicial system.
Abbas also conveyed the readiness of the 10th House to work with the judiciary under Justice Kekere-Ekun, urging her to uphold the principle of fairness and justice in undertaking this serious national assignment.
Meanwhile, Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu says President Bola Tinubu has again shown his commitment to the sustenance of democracy by quickly swearing-in Kekere Ekun as acting CJN, a step he described as exceptional.
