Nigeria education loan fund has assured that the student loan scheme will not be rigged or riddled with corruption, insisting that all eligible citizen who desire to benefit from the support scheme will be accorded equal opportunity.
Managing director, NELFUND Akintunde Sawyer speaking during a session with newsmen, explained that the scheme has been built to tackle corruption, ensuring that only candidates that meet the requirements will be eligible to benefit.
According to him, the scheme if properly executed, has the capacity to impact national economic, and creativity export.
Sawyer however hailed President Bola Tinubu for the initiative, describing it as a testament of his resolve to improve the education sector and provide conducive environment for young Nigerians to learn and acquire necessary skills.
