Ogun state Governor, Dapo Abiodun has vowed to sustain his drive for the transformation of the state through ground breaking initiatives that will boost economic value and enable a conducive environment for residents to thrive.

The governor said this today at the commissioning ceremony of Compressed Natural Gas buses, which he said will help cushion the effect of petrol subsidy removal as outlined by president Tinubu, while promising to also implement other programs to better the life of the people.

Abiodun also stated that plans are in place to ensure that the state airport is functional, noting that the dry sea port will also take priority to shed the weight on the apapa, tincan port in lagos and attract more investment to the state.

Recall, the Chief Executive Officer of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative, Michael Oluwagbemi during the inauguration of the initiative in Lagos yesterday of stated that the process of the CNG conversion program with private sector companies will attract an investment of well over $2 billion and create over 250, 000 jobs.
