Former President Jonathan Advocates Regional Peace, Begs Nigerian Politicians to Prioritize National Development

 

 

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has called on political weights to set aside their differences and partner the Tinubu administration for the good of Nigeria and Africa as a whole, stating that Nigeria must maintain her status as a big brother in all spheres.

 

The ex-president stated this while briefing journalists at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa after meeting with Tinubu, noting that politicking should be suspended till election season, insisting all hands must be on deck to propel Nigeria to new heights.

 

 

According to him, there is a need to end the tensionin different parts of the Sahel and Africa, submitting that harmony in the region is the only solution.

 

 

The former president further noted that his consultations with the president is a duty to share his wisdom and views for the general good of Nigeria and Africa.
