The Federal Government wants Nigerians to continue to show faith in the current administration because its Policies are long-term solutions to recurring problems in the country.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume made this remark at a press conference in Abuja to unveil the line-up of activities for Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary.
Acknowledging the current economic and security challenges, Akume said some success had been achieved by the administration through various initiatives such as the Compressed natural gas Initiative, Student Loan Fund, Security and Infrastructural development.
Akume called on Nigerians to remain united and resilient as the country continues to navigate its path toward development.
The 64th Independence Anniversary celebration commenced today with the World Press Conference and the following line-up of activities to mark the national event include Juma’at Service on Friday, September 27, 2024; Church Service on Sunday, September 29, 2024; and on Monday, September 30, 2024. The Presidential Broadcast and 64th Independence Day Parade will hold on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
